You nailed it Michael. Newsom placing his own political future before the needs of his constituents is nothing new. He did with gay marriage when he was mayor of SF and he’s doing it now. He dares not cross the ACLU, Nurses Union, Teachers Union, SEIU, or the radical environmentalists whose policies have lead to much of the wildfires we see in CA and the lack of water and energy resources.
I've lived in CA twice (Monterey) and vacationed there an incalculable amount. I won't set foot in there until things start to ameliorate. That can't happen as long as Newsome is at the helm. Can't wait for you to win and start real common-sense change and start fixing these ongoing disasters. I want to visit again, go to an A's game, visit the beach on Coronado, walk through a safe SF, and tour all the majestic cities.
I honestly feel Gavin Newsom doesn't *believe* in anything. Everything single thing he does, every choice, every move, every decision is purely politically motivated. Right down to his choices of the women he married, and having children. The man has no integrity, he follows the political wind.
Now he's telling us how great a president Kamala Harris would/will be.
Newsom obviously thinks Biden won't make a second term, and Harris will choose him as her VP...

When the people were trying to recall Newsom for Larry Elder, there's no way in Hell that 'election' was legit. I guarantee Newsom pulled whatever strings he could to keep his job. Larry Elder would have really turned California around for the better and people wouldn't be leaving the state in droves today. And the ONLY way he'd ever win 2024 is if the Dems somehow passed that ridiculous 'For the People Act' and no one needed a photo ID to vote. I believe that's the Dems' plan and the reason they're allowing so many illegals into the country. They see 'potential voters'. Plus if no one needed an ID to vote, you could vote as much as you want over and over and the Dems love the sound of that.
Gavin Newsom is morally bankrupt and politically corrupt. He will do or say anything that serves his personal political ambitions to be in the white house. He has no common interest with the citizens or businesses of California other than as a stepping stone for his political career. He needs to be defeated in the November election if there is any hope of saving the once great state of California.
That man is terrible for the state. All he talks about is other states' attacks on reproductive rights, but nothing about California's issues because that would remind everyone that he has failed. I already voted for you on my ballot, but I fear that so many people will just vote for him regardless since this is such a strong blue state and don't want to give Republicans any wins.
